On shore leave?

Go to Visit Baltimore for information on dining and nightlife, attractions, shopping and more.

The Baltimore Visitor Center, located at 401 Light Street on the west shore of the Inner Harbor, is a great place to start exploring the city.

View our Harbor Map to orient yourself.

The Charm City Circulator is a fleet of free shuttles running four routes in the city. There is a Charm City Circulator mobile app available for iPhone, iPad and Android.

Baltimore Water Taxi can get you from one side of the Harbor to the other.

The Maryland Transit Authority offers local bus service, a metro subway and light rail system, and MARC train service.

Use the buddy, or shipmates, system. When you are on shore leave, see the city with one or more shipmates.

9-1-1 is the national emergency number for the United States. Call this number to reach police, fire and other emergency services. Dial this number only for emergencies!

For non-emergency police response in Baltimore City, dial 3-1-1.

Please be aware that open containers of alcohol are prohibited by law in all Baltimore City public areas.

Have fun and enjoy Charm City!
